As I was watching a crazy Spring snowstorm hit us, I started daydreaming of the beach and warmer weather. Nothing says summer like a frozen pina colada at the beach.

A couple of weeks ago, I found these neat little packets of fresh coconut in the frozen department of the grocery store. As soon as I laid eyes on them, I was immediately thinking SMOOTHIE!

I added four other simple ingredients and voila, a delicious and healthy pineapple coconut smoothie. The above image has my favorite brands, but any will work just fine.

5 Ingredient Pineapple Coconut Smoothie

A perfect blend of tropical delights! Enjoy this easy 5 ingredient smoothie as a perfect afternoon snack or dessert. Nothing says beach like these flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 packet frozen pureed coconut (individually packaged)
  • 1 5 ounce container vanilla yogurt
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup coconut water

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into blender and mix on medium speed until well combined. This is the most simple smoothie recipe I have ever had.

    I’ve never seen those individual coconut packets. That’s life changing. What a delicious recipe. I cannot wait to try this.
