Peach smoothies make a great breakfast, snack, or recovery drink after a workout. This easy recipe just takes a handful of ingredients and can be fixed in less than 10 minutes.

Here are a few fun facts about peaches. The origins of peaches were founded in China. Surprisingly, China is still one of the largest producers of peaches, followed by Italy. Peaches that are lighter or white are sweeter and less acidic than the more orangish ones.

Not only do they taste amazing, peaches contain a ton of vitamins and minerals including Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Potassium, and Iron. Vitamin C is most known for fighting infections, but it is also a powerful antioxidant that eliminates free radicals before they can do damage to cells in the body.

Vitamin A is another nutrient found in peaches. It helps with eyesight and protects against lung and mouth cancers, helps with gut disorders and destroys the Candida virus. The darker the peach’s skin, the more Vitamin A it contains.

Potassium is found in peaches and is considered a digestive food enzyme. It also helps regulate the heart and lower blood pressure. The iron in peaches is essential in the creation of red blood cells that carry oxygen from the lungs to the other parts of the body.

I like this smoothie in the morning after a workout. It is really refreshing and the flavors are just sweet enough. If you prefer, feel free to use nectarines or mangos as an alternate. I hope you like it!

  • 2/3 cup frozen peaches, organic if possible
  • 3 ounces peach yogurt, I prefer Icelandic
  • 1/2 banana, ripened
  • 4 ounces water
  • 1 scoop peach naturally sweetened amino powder, optional


  • Mix water and amino powder in a glass and add to the blender. 
  • Add peaches, yogurt, and banana. Blend until completely combined. Enjoy!
